Siscu Romero | Lalimitada

I was born and raised and continue to live in Barcelona. I studied graphic design at school E.P. Josep Serra i Abella. Afterwards I studied two years of Illustration at the School D'Art D'Olot. My most recent studies, conducted in Joso private school, are in animator’s drawing techniques.

Nowadays my work focuses on children’s themes with strong messages for an adult audience. My characters wallow in sadness, outlining autobiographical episodes with "love" as the thread that connects them.

Last year I opened a show called "Metaphors I never understood" at La Penúltima bar. Then the Princesses came along, opening at MUTUo, a young artist’s festival in Barcelona. After the show I took them to Arteva Gallery where they still remain.

I am currently preparing two exhibitions: One is a second line of Princesses in small formats, also for Artevistas Gallery, and another, in large formats, to be presented at the bar "Café de las Delicias."
