Claudia Carrillo is an independent artist, disconnected from any formalities other than those which she sets herself into. Her creativity doesn't know the meaning of holidays. Creating constantly, she then releases thoughts, concepts, ideas, ways of living, of thinking and relating. She works with human feelings, their greatness and their misery… Revisiting the "Capital Sins", which are more than seven, giving them a traitor turn or, conversely, mocking them. In a word, reinterpreting them as she pleases.

In my work I like to always use a mixture of techniques, constantly trying new things. As for the themes, my obsession is the human being, particularly portraits. In my personal mythology you can find, repeated thousands of times, birds, eyes, fish scales and faces. In the picture there faces deciphering hieroglyphics what is inside that mask. The artists that I like the most and most influence me are Marc Cha gall, Francis Bacon, Francesca Woodman, Frida Kahlo and Durer. I love and learn from the great Expressionist and Surrealist artists.
